Zombie Tidal Wave

A fisherman on a remote island finds his seaside community under threat when a tidal wave carries a mass of reanimated corpses onto the shore. As the undead spread across the island, Hunter Shaw joins forces with other residents, including the local sheriff, to defend their home and work out what brought the outbreak to their doorstep. The struggle pits an experienced fisherman and a handful of islanders against an invasion that came in with the tide.

Anthony C. Ferrante directed the film, the eighth of fourteen he has directed in chronological order, following The Last Sharknado: It's About Time and preceding Blind Waters. He wrote the screenplay with Darby Parker and Josh LeBlanc, and the producers were Darby Parker, Ian Ziering and Kirk Shaw. Ian Ziering, a longtime collaborator of the director's, plays Hunter Shaw; the cast also includes Erich Chikashi Linzbichler, Shelton Jolivette, Cheree Cassidy, Tatum Chiniquy and Angie Teodora Dick. The Syfy production runs 86 minutes and mixes action, adventure, horror, science fiction and thriller elements.

The film's reception has been modest. On IMDb it holds a rating of 3.7 from around 1,600 votes, and on TMDB a rating of 4.4 from roughly 65 votes, indicating a small and largely unenthusiastic audience response.
