The Machine

A comedian named Bert finds his life disrupted when he and his estranged father are kidnapped and taken to Russia. This abduction is orchestrated by members of a criminal organization Bert offended during a heavily intoxicated college semester two decades earlier. As they navigate a conflict between sociopathic crime families, Bert and his father must revisit the actions of Bert's youth while attempting to repair their own strained relationship. The story is based on the real-life experiences of Bert Kreischer and his stand-up routine of the same name.

Directed by Peter Atencio, this project is the third film in his career, following The Rig and Keanu. The cast features Bert Kreischer in the title role and Mark Hamill as Albert, with Jimmy Tatro portraying the younger version of Bert.
