Debt Collectors follows French and Sue, two men who work as enforcers for a local crime boss named Tommy, tracking down petty criminals who owe him money. Their usual routine of intimidation and violence takes them to Las Vegas, where they are sent to collect a debt from a casino owner with a personal history with Sue. At the same time, a drug trafficker is hunting the pair, seeking revenge for his brother's death. French and Sue must fight their way through everyone standing between them and survival.
The film is a sequel to The Debt Collector, and Jesse V. Johnson returns as director, working from a screenplay he wrote with Stu Small. It is the twelfth of the nineteen films Johnson has directed in chronological order, arriving between The Mercenary and Hell Hath No Fury. Scott Adkins and Louis Mandylor reprise their roles as French and Sue, with Mayling Ng, Vladimir Kulich, Mariano Mendoza and Ski Carr among the credited cast of twenty-two.
Released in May 2020, the film runs 97 minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.8 from around 6,100 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.2 from roughly 269 votes. A critics' rating of 5.9 from eleven reviews places it close to the audience scores, suggesting a modest but consistent reception for this action comedy crime entry.
