Short description

What's left behind the scenes
- Despite the film being set in Mississippi, it was filmed in California.
- Rick James (1948-2004) didn't act out his limp; the scene was filmed after the actor had hip replacement surgery.
- When Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence stand on a box of liquor bottles, Claude, played by Lawrence, says his toe got stuck in a bottle. This actually happened during the filming of one of the takes, and Murphy's laughter here is completely genuine, not acted.
