Happy Feet Two
Short description
Mumble is a penguin who struggles to connect with his son, Erik, who has no interest in dancing. Instead, Erik becomes fascinated by the Mighty Sven, a penguin who claims he can fly. Their personal conflict grows as powerful global forces and environmental changes threaten the safety of the emperor penguin community. To protect their home, Mumble must set aside differences with his son and unite various penguin nations and allies, including sea elephants and krill, to face the crisis.
Directed by George Miller, this film is the ninth of 13 in his career, following Happy Feet and preceding Mad Max: Fury Road. The screenplay was written by Miller, Warren Coleman, and Paul Livingston. The voice cast features Elijah Wood as Mumble, Pink as Gloria, and Elizabeth Daily as Erik, with Robin Williams voicing both Ramon and Lovelace.
Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures, Kennedy Miller Mitchell, and Dr. D. Studios, the movie had a budget of 135 million USD and earned 159 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception is mixed, with a rating of 5.8/10 on IMDb from 51,000 votes and a slightly higher score of 6.2/10 on TMDB based on 1,771 votes.

- As in the first part, this cartoon also features a non-animated insert with real actors.
- The penguin chick's aria about his father is based on the second aria of Cavaradossi from Giacomo Puccini's opera "Tosca".
- The cartoon's soundtrack includes the song Mama Said Knock You Out (LL Cool J, 1991). The promotional trailer also features the songs SexyBack (Justin Timberlake, 2006) and Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow (The Rivingtons, 1962). The song “Dragostea din tei” by the Moldovan group O-Zone is used in the cartoon.
- Many of the actors voice the same roles as in the first part of the cartoon. Brittany Murphy also began working on voicing her character, Gloria, but after the actress's death, Pink took on the role.
