Ip Man: Kung Fu Master

Ip Man: Kung Fu Master is an action drama centered on the early life of the titular martial artist. While serving as a police captain, Ip Man is falsely accused of killing a mafia leader. This frame-up forces him to leave the police force and makes him a target for the gangster's vengeful daughter. As he works to protect himself and his pregnant wife from gang attacks, he must also contend with the arrival of the Japanese army and the schemes of Major Tokugawa.

The film was directed by Li Liming, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Qingshui Shi. This production is the second in a series of eleven films directed by Li, following Bad Detective. The cast features Yu-Hang To in the lead role of Ip Man, alongside Yuan Liruoxin, Tong Xiaohu, Yue Dongfeng, Ren Yu, and Chang Qinyuan.
