Brigitte Bardot Forever

A young boy named Adam lives with his mother, who is targeted by state police because his father disappeared while serving as a pilot in World War II. Drawing parallels to the story of Telemachus, Adam spends his time imagining his missing parent. While watching a film by Godard in a theater, he is transported into a surreal environment. He enters the dressing room of Brigitte Bardot and encounters a variety of famous figures from the world of art, music, and cinema who guide him as he searches for his father.

Directed and written by Lech Majewski, this Polish production followed his 2011 film The Mill and the Cross. The cast features Kacper Olszewski in the lead role of Adam, with Joanna Opozda portraying Brigitte Bardot. Other performers include Magdalena Różczka, Andrzej Grabowski, Weronika Rosati, and Stanisław Brudny. The film was produced by several entities, including TVP and Filmoteka Narodowa – Instytut Audiowizualny. Since its release in October 2022, the movie has received a mixed response from viewers, holding a rating of 5.2/10 on IMDb based on 137 votes.
