Unrest

Set in a 19th-century Swiss watchmaking town, this historical drama follows Josephine, a factory worker who produces small components for mechanical watches. As technological advancements transform the social order and change how labor and time are managed, Josephine becomes dissatisfied with the local organization of ownership and work. She joins a movement of anarchist watchmakers, where she meets a Russian traveler named Pyotr Kropotkin. Together, they examine whether concepts like government, money, and time are merely fictions.
