Hexed

Matthew Welsh is a hotel clerk who has spent years in a job that has brought him little recognition. When Hexina, a European supermodel, checks into the hotel, Matthew pretends to be someone else in order to get a date with her. The evening turns violent when Hexina attacks him, and she goes on to kill several people. The evidence left behind points to Matthew, making him the prime suspect. Gloria, a colleague who has long hoped Matthew would ask her out, believes he is innocent and tries to help him, while Detective Ferguson pursues the case against him.

Hexed was released in 1993 and runs 93 minutes. It was written and directed by Alan Spencer, produced by Marc S. Fischer and Louis G. Friedman, and made by Columbia Pictures with Price Entertainment. The cast includes Arye Gross as Matthew, Claudia Christian as Hexina, Adrienne Shelly as Gloria, R. Lee Ermey as Ferguson, Ray Baker and Michael E. Knight. Around three million dollars came in worldwide, a small return. On IMDb the film sits at 5.6 from roughly 1,900 votes, while on TMDB it holds 4.8 from a much smaller group of 38. A critics' score of 2.7 from 11 reviews places it below the audience figure on IMDb.
