Three women barely getting by in Las Vegas — Tes, Dawn and Kara — are drawn into a criminal scheme by Mel, a charming acquaintance who promises them a better life. The opportunity he offers quickly goes wrong, and they find themselves trapped in a dangerous situation they cannot walk away from, one that also involves a hit man, a truck driver and a cook. The film is an action thriller set largely in and around Las Vegas.

Aaron Harvey directed and wrote the screenplay, working with producers Randall Emmett, Michael Benaroya and Megan Ellison. The cast is led by Malin Åkerman, Nikki Reed and Deborah Ann Woll as the three women, with Bruce Willis as Mel, Forest Whitaker as Ronny and Brad Dourif as Sheriff Connors. Made for about 7 million dollars, it was Harvey's first feature, followed years later by The Neighbor and Come with Me.

Audience response has been modest. On IMDb it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 10 from roughly 18,000 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 5 out of 10 from a much smaller pool of 379 votes, a lower average drawn from far fewer viewers. The two figures point to a film that found little lasting favor with the audiences who saw it.
