Short description
When villagers begin disappearing it is discovered that they had fallen through a crack in the earth which goes straight to Hades. Hercules once again comes to the rescue and faces one of his most difficult challenges, and must prove himself as a man as well as a god. "Hercules in the Underworld" is the fourth made for TV movie in the series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
What's left behind the scenes
- Michael Hurst also played Aeolus—a drunk guy from Gryphon who dies in the opening scene.
- Toni Kaitan, who played the role of Deianira, didn't constrain herself with polite behavior on set. Once, she was screaming into her mobile phone at her agent, hating the script, the crew, and everything in general. Kevin Sorbo took the phone from her and led her to his dressing room, where he explained what good manners are.
- Actress Toni Kaitan was given a T-shirt that said "What do I say in this scene?" because she always forgot her lines.
