JugJugg Jeeyo

JugJugg Jeeyo is an Indian comedy-drama about a married couple whose relationship has run its course. Kukoo and Naina grew up knowing each other and married five years ago, but they now live in Toronto and have decided to separate. They travel to India for the wedding of Kukoo's sister, Ginny, intending to tell the family about the divorce once the celebrations are over. Their plans are complicated by Kukoo's parents, Bheem and Geeta, a couple widely seen as a model marriage, who have ideas and surprises of their own for the younger pair. A revelation about Bheem's own intentions pushes the family into difficult territory during the wedding.

The film is directed by Raj Mehta, with a screenplay by Anurag Singh, Sumit Batheja and Rishabh Sharma, and was produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani play Kukoo and Naina, while Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh appear as his parents. Prajakta Koli plays Ginny and Maniesh Paul plays Gurpreet Sharma. It runs 148 minutes.

Released in June 2022, the film drew a 6.1 rating on IMDb from roughly 43,000 votes, while on TMDB it holds a 6.4 from a much smaller number of voters. The audience response was therefore moderate, with a large viewership registering a mixed reaction rather than strong enthusiasm.
