Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas

Sid the sloth accidentally wrecks Manny's treasured Christmas rock, and when Manny tells him he has landed on Santa's naughty list, Sid sets off for the North Pole to apologize and set things straight. Crash, Eddie and Peaches go with him. At Santa's workshop, Sid's talent for causing chaos makes the situation worse rather than better, so Manny and the rest of the herd have to work together to rescue Christmas.

This half-hour holiday television special from 2011 was directed by Karen Disher, following her earlier work on Daria in 'Is It Fall Yet?' and Surviving Sid. Sam Harper and Mike Reiss wrote the screenplay, Lori Forte produced, and the voices include Ray Romano as Manny, John Leguizamo as Sid, Queen Latifah as Ellie, Denis Leary as Diego, Seann William Scott as Crash and Josh Peck as Eddie, with the familiar characters placed in a seasonal story rather than the series' usual prehistoric migration.

Audience responses were moderate: on IMDb it holds 6.4/10 from around 12,000 votes, and on TMDB 6.5/10 from roughly 727 votes. Those figures suggest a likable but not standout addition to the Ice Age series, aimed mainly at families and younger viewers.
