Based on real events, this family comedy drama follows NFL head coach Sean Payton, who returns to his hometown after being suspended from his professional role two years after winning a Super Bowl. While away from the league, he attempts to repair his relationship with his twelve-year-old son by taking over as the coach of the boy's youth football team.

The film was directed by Charles Kinnane, also credited as Daniel Kinnane, as the first of two listed directorial works before Solo Mio. Produced by Adam Sandler, Allen Covert, and Kevin James, the movie stars Kevin James in the lead role alongside Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Jackie Sandler, Gary Valentine, and Lavell Crawford.
