Small Fry

A mini version of Buzz Lightyear takes the place of the original toy after a visit to a fast food restaurant. While Woody and the other toys struggle to manage the arrogant impostor, the real Buzz finds himself stranded at the restaurant. He joins a support group for toys that have been abandoned by their owners and attempts to find a way back home to his friends.

This 2011 animated comedy and adventure short was directed and written by Angus MacLane. In his career as a director, MacLane previously made BURN·E in 2008 and later directed Toy Story of Terror! in 2013 and Lightyear in 2022. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar, and Pixar Canada, the seven-minute film features a voice cast including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Estelle Harris, Wallace Shawn, and John Ratzenberger. A total of 24 actors are credited in the production.
