Falling for Christmas

Falling for Christmas centers on Sierra Belmont, a wealthy and pampered young woman who has just become engaged. During a skiing holiday, an accident on the slopes leaves her with no memory of who she is, and she ends up in the care of Jake Russell, the owner of a small mountain lodge, and his young daughter. As the holidays approach, she settles into a life far removed from the one she knew, while the people around her deal with the consequences of her lost identity.

The film is a romantic comedy directed by Janeen Damian, working from a screenplay by Ron Oliver and Jeff Bonnett, and produced by Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian. It was the first feature Damian directed, ahead of Irish Wish and The Wrong Paris. Lindsay Lohan leads the cast as Sierra, with Chord Overstreet as Jake, George Young as Tad Fairchild, Jack Wagner as Beauregard Belmont, Olivia Perez as Avy and Alejandra Flores as Alejandra Carlisle. The film runs 95 minutes and was released in November 2022.

Audience response has been mixed. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.3 from roughly 34,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.2 from around 892 votes. The smaller TMDB sample is more favorable, but neither figure points to a broadly enthusiastic reception for the film.
