Zero Fucks Given

Zero Fucks Given follows Cassandre, a 26-year-old flight attendant for a budget airline based in Lanzarote. She works long hours with detached efficiency for a company that pushes cabin crew to sell duty-free goods, and spends her layovers drifting through parties, drinking and casual dates arranged through apps. Her life is rootless by design rather than accident, and she holds onto the ambition of eventually flying for a major carrier. When she loses the job over a minor matter, that carefully maintained detachment collapses, and she returns to her father and sister, where long-avoided grief over her mother's death has to be faced.

The film is a Belgian and French co-production written by Mariette Désert, Emmanuel Marre and Julie Lecoustre, and directed by Marre and Lecoustre. It is Marre's second feature, arriving between Premature in 2014 and A Man of His Time in 2026. Adèle Exarchopoulos plays Cassandre, with Alexandre Perrier as Jean, Mara Taquin as Mélissa, Arthur Egloff as Arthur, Tamara Al Saadi as Dounia and David Martinez Pinon as the base supervisor.

Released in March 2022, the film runs 115 minutes and mixes comedy with drama. Audiences rate it 6.4 out of 10 on IMDb from around 6,200 votes and 6.3 out of 10 on TMDB from 461 votes, while a critics' rating of 7 out of 10 from 22 reviews places it somewhat above those viewer scores.
