Feeders

Two friends, Derek and Bennett, are driving through a small town on a road trip when they discover that aliens have landed nearby. The visitors are not merely passing through; they are feeding on the local residents, and the travelers find themselves caught up in the horror unfolding around them. Ranger Gordon, a doctor and other townspeople round out the cast as the situation grows more dangerous.

Feeders is a 1996 American science fiction horror film directed by Jon McBride and John Polonia, written by Mark Polonia, and running just 68 minutes. It comes from Polonia Brothers Entertainment, the low-budget outfit associated with the Polonia brothers. For Mark Polonia, this is the first of 19 films he directed in chronological order, ahead of Razorteeth in 2005; the same later title appears as the second directing credit for Jon McBride. The cast includes Jon McBride as Derek, John Polonia as Bennett, Gary LeBlanc, Sebastian Barran, Maria Davis and Melissa Torpy.

Audience response has been weak. On IMDb it holds a rating of 2.6 out of 10 from around 1,300 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 4.5 out of 10 from a much smaller group of 38 voters. The wide gap in vote counts suggests the film is known mainly to a niche audience of genre viewers rather than a broad public.
