Trinitie Childs has long stood beside her husband, Pastor Lee-Curtis Childs, as the first lady of a prominent Southern Baptist megachurch. When a scandal brings the congregation to the brink of collapse, the couple sets out to rebuild what remains and stage a comeback in the commercial religious world. Adamma Ebo wrote and directed this comedy drama, a feature expansion of her short film of the same title, presented in a mockumentary style.

Regina Hall plays Trinitie and Sterling K. Brown plays Lee-Curtis; both also served as producers alongside Daniel Kaluuya. Nicole Beharie, Conphidance, Austin Crute and Devere Rogers appear in supporting roles, with a credited cast of forty. The film runs 103 minutes and was released in September 2022.

It drew a critics' rating of 6.3/10 from 180 reviews, while audiences were less enthusiastic: 5.3/10 from 4,600 votes on IMDb and 4.6/10 from 55 votes on TMDB. The worldwide box office of about 3 million USD places it as a modest release.
