Marley is a professional engagement planner who excels at arranging romantic milestones for others while struggling to find love in her own life. Tasked with organizing a high-stakes proposal for her best friend, Marley returns to her childhood hometown in Alabama. She intends to use an apple orchard, the site of her friend's former family farm, as the setting for the event. However, the current owner, Curt Richards, initially resists her plans. As Marley works to convince him to cooperate, an unexpected encounter leads to a growing connection between them.
