Real Santa

This Ukrainian family film follows five intersecting stories centered on a holiday magician who loses faith in miracles. Distressed by how work and daily burdens make people forget the spirit of the season, Santa decides to quit his post and sells his costume to a man who has also lost his connection to holiday magic. This decision removes both the festive mood and the snowfall from the world. Despite the magician's belief that the modern generation is hopeless, the people eventually notice the loss and work together to create their own miracle.

Directed by Markiian Miroshnychenko and written by Maryna Smilianets, the movie features a cast including Mikhail August as Santa, Kseniia Mishyna as Kira, and Bohdan Beniuk as Fedir. Other roles are played by Oleksandr Popov, Daria Petrozhytska, and Volodymyr Shumko. Produced by Device Production, the film has a runtime of 102 minutes. Since its release in January 2022, it has received a moderate reception from viewers, holding a rating of 5/10 on IMDb based on 27 votes.
