Hadik

Set during the Seven Years War, this historical drama follows General András Hadik and his hussar cavalry. Under the orders of Queen Maria Theresa of Austria, Hadik leads his troops on a covert mission to launch a raid on Berlin. The objective is to strike the Prussian capital and humiliate King Frederick the Great. The story depicts the soldiers covering a vast distance in a short timeframe to execute a surprise attack on the enemy garrison before withdrawing from the city.

The film was directed by János Szikora, marking his second directorial effort after Anyegin in 1990. The screenplay was written by Mark Kis-Szabo and produced by Endre Nagy.
