Róise & Frank

Róise is a widow struggling with the loss of her husband, Frank, two years after his passing. While her son, Alan, worries about her wellbeing, the arrival of a stray dog brings new joy into her life. Because the animal shares Frank's love for steaks, his favorite armchair, and a passion for sports, Róise becomes convinced that the dog is her husband reincarnated. She adopts the animal, believing he has returned to be with her and to help coach a local sports team.

This Irish comedy drama was co-directed by Rachael Moriarty and Peter Murphy, who previously collaborated on Traders in 2016. The film stars Bríd Ní Neachtain as Róise and Cillian O'Gairbhi as Alan, featuring a credited cast of 35 people.
