Thomas Skepphult is a successful investment firm owner with a wealthy lifestyle and a loving family. His stability collapses when his business partner is murdered, leaving Thomas as the primary beneficiary of their company contract. Because his fingerprints were found on the weapon, he becomes a suspect in the crime. While evading the police and other hidden adversaries, Thomas attempts to clear his name and protect his family by reconnecting with criminal contacts. During this struggle, he is contacted by an individual he believed had died years prior.
