Renaissance

Set in a monitored Paris in 2054, the story follows a police officer named Karas who is hired to find Ilona Tasuiev, a young genetic scientist. Ilona had been working for Avalon, a powerful corporation that sells beauty and youth, before she was kidnapped. As Karas investigates, he discovers that the disappearance is linked to a secret research project and a broader conflict involving organized crime and corporate espionage. His search reveals that Ilona is the key to a protocol that could affect the future of humanity.
