Secret Ceremony

Rachel is a lawyer and the adopted daughter of a family of magistrates led by Maxime, a stern prosecutor. While she often escapes her oppressive home life through vivid daydreams and nightmares, her detachment from reality is challenged when her first client, Anna, commits suicide in prison. Standing before the coffin, Rachel recalls their shared childhood in the same village, where a castle gate once separated them. As she remembers the crime scene and the hardships Anna endured, the truth about their past relationship emerges, forcing Rachel to confront her own obsessions.
