Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle
Short description
Three women working as private investigators for the unseen Charlie are sent after a pair of rings that carry encoded information about everyone in a federal witness protection program. When the people on that list start dying, the agents set out to find whoever took the rings, a search that brings one of them face to face with a former colleague who has changed sides.
Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu return as Natalie, Dylan and Alex, with Bernie Mac as Bosley and Demi Moore as Madison Lee. McG directed the film, his second feature after the 2000 Charlie's Angels and the second entry in the series. John August wrote the screenplay with Cormac and Marianne Wibberley, and Barrymore produced through her company alongside Nancy Juvonen and Leonard Goldberg. It runs 106 minutes.
The production cost about 120 million dollars and took in roughly 259 million worldwide, a return below what its scale suggests. On IMDb it holds 5 out of 10 from around 139,000 votes, and on TMDB 5.5 out of 10 from a much smaller pool of about 3,400. A critics' rating of 5.3 out of 10 from 182 reviews places it close to the audience scores, so viewers and reviewers were largely in agreement about the film.
