Loving Memories

Set during and after the First World War, this historical romance follows Julie, who refuses to accept that her husband, Julien, died after going missing in combat. In 1919, she sees a newspaper photograph of an amnesic man and believes she has found him. As the woman helps the man recover his feelings for her, another woman appears and claims that she is his actual wife. With no memories to guide him, the man must decide which woman is telling the truth.

The film was written and directed by Guillaume Bureau. The cast features Leïla Bekhti as Julie Delaunay, Karim Leklou as the man, and Louise Bourgoin as Rose-Marie Brunet. The production was handled by Frakas Productions and Avenue B Productions in France.
