What's left behind the scenes
- The third season finale dealt with the death of Marilla Cuthbert. Since the actress who played the role, Colleen Dewhurst, had already passed away by that time, her appearance on screen was the result of using footage of her from other films produced by the same studio.
- Tara Meyer was originally planned for the role of Felicity; however, due to the filming schedule, the role was given to Gemma Zamprogno just a few days before production began, and Meyer was assigned the role of Sally Potts.
