What's left behind the scenes
- The school shown in the film was also used in Robert Zemeckis's "Back to the Future" trilogy (1985, 1989, 1990). It is the clock tower that was used to launch the DeLorean car.
- In the first episode, Harry claims that creating Lisa is entirely possible because he once saw it in a John Hughes movie. He is, of course, referring to the film "Real Genius" (1985), of which this series is a spin-off.
- In the episode "Quantum Wyatt," Wyatt finds himself in the bodies of other people. When he looks in a mirror, he sees the person whose body he is currently inhabiting. This is a reference to the television series "Quantum Leap" (1989-1993). Michael Manasseri, who plays Wyatt, had a small role in one of the "Quantum Leap" episodes, "Evil Returns."
- It was initially expected that Vanessa Angel would leave the project, as she had been cast in the series "Xena: Warrior Princess" (1995-2001); however, she was unable to fly to New Zealand due to the flu, and the role went to Lucy Lawless.
