What's left behind the scenes
- Filming began in June 2013. The facades and surroundings of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire were used to create the appearance of Pemberley. Interior shots were filmed at Chatsworth itself, as well as at Castle Howard and Harewood House in Yorkshire. National Trust sites of historical interest, such as Hardcastle Crags and Fountains Abbey with Studley Royal Park, were also used as location shoots during filming. A special set was constructed for the prison scenes.
