What's left behind the scenes
- Jennifer Odell, who played Veronica, wore sandals during the first half of the first season. She later complained about the weather and mentioned a fear of injury, after which she switched to boots.
- Jennifer O'Dell designed her character's costume (a short skirt and top) herself.
- Initially, the screenwriters hadn't planned for David Orth (who plays reporter Ned Mellone) to be absent from the final 12 episodes, but due to creative differences with the actor, his character was 'sent' on a long journey.
