Region of Heroes

Region of Heroes is a blend of documentary and drama that reconstructs five true accounts of residents from the Kyiv region. The film focuses on the actions of local people who worked to save thousands of Ukrainian lives during the Russian occupation.

The production was directed by Artur Lerman, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Stefaniia Bila and Oleksii Komarovskyi. It represents the first film in the chronological list of Lerman's directed works, preceding Heaven's Office Games. The movie was produced by Oleksii Komarovskyi through the Ukrainian State Film Agency and IdeaFilms. Released on November 24, 2022, the Ukrainian production has a total runtime of 80 minutes.
