Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues

Ron Burgundy, once San Diego's most popular news anchor, finds his career and marriage in trouble as the 1970s end. When a fledgling twenty-four-hour cable news channel in New York offers him a job, he accepts and brings his old news team with him. On the new channel, he draws attention with an approach built on giving viewers the stories they want rather than the ones they need, which lifts him toward prime time. The film follows his adjustment to a changing news business and the strain it places on the people around him.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is a 2013 American comedy directed by Adam McKay, who wrote the screenplay with Will Ferrell. It followed several earlier McKay features, among them the original Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers and The Other Guys. Ferrell leads the cast as Ron, alongside Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Christina Applegate, with Dylan Baker also appearing. Judd Apatow and McKay produced with Ferrell.
