The Dive

Two sisters travel to a remote location for a diving trip that turns into a struggle for survival. After a landslide causes rocks to fall into the water, one sister becomes trapped 28 meters below the surface. With freezing temperatures and a dwindling oxygen supply, the other sister must make difficult decisions to try and rescue her while facing the risk of her own life.

The film was directed by Maximilian Erlenwein, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Joachim Hedén. It is a joint production from Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Malta, and France, involving companies such as Logical Pictures and Augenschein Filmproduktion. The main cast features Sophie Lowe as Drew and Louisa Krause as May, with Stella Uhrig and Shire Richardson appearing as the younger versions of the sisters. David Scicluna also appears as the father.
