Short description
When a plane crash claims the lives of members of the Marshall University football team and some of its fans, the team's new coach and his surviving players try to keep the football program alive.
What's left behind the scenes
- Hundreds of extras, as well as thousands of inflatable mannequins and characters added to the shot using computer technology, served as spectators in the stadiums.
- Ian McShane drew on memories of acquaintances who played for the Manchester United team and perished in the Munich air disaster on February 6, 1958, to help create the character's image.
- The scene in the board meeting room, where “We are the team” is chanted outside the window, took two days to film. First, the meeting itself was filmed. The chanting was recorded and overlaid onto the footage the next day.
