Short description
Kevin McCallister's parents have split up. Now living with his mom, he decides to spend Christmas with his dad at the mansion of his father's rich girlfriend, Natalie. Meanwhile robber Marv Merchants, one of the villains from the first two movies, partners up with a new criminal named Vera to hit Natalie's mansion.

- The film is set in Chicago, Illinois, but was filmed in South Africa.
- The film has many differences from the plot of the first two parts: All of Kevin's other siblings, except Buzz and Megan, are absent. The latter look younger than in the first two parts of the series. Marv's appearance in this film is more similar to Harry's. Kevin does not believe in Santa Claus in the first two films, but believes in him in the fourth.
