Set in provincial France, this drama centers on Pierre, a bisexual musician whose complex sexual connections link various residents of his town. He maintains an incestuous relationship with his sister, Lucie, and engages in sexual encounters with others, including a city councilor. After Pierre is found beaten to death, Lucie begins her own investigation to uncover the truth behind his murder and explores the network of provocative relationships he left behind.
The film was co-directed by Jean-Marc Barr and Pascal Arnold, who also wrote the screenplay based on a personal memory. For Barr, this was the second film he directed, following Lovers. It served as the directorial debut for Arnold, who later collaborated again with Barr on Sexual Chronicles of a French Family and The Rebellious. The cast features Lizzie Brocheré as Lucie and Arthur Dupont as Pierre, alongside Guillaume Baché, Pierre Perrier, Nicolas Nollet, and Valérie Mairesse.
Released in 2006, the movie has received a moderate response from viewers. It holds a rating of 5.7/10 on IMDb based on 1,500 votes and a score of 5.9/10 on TMDB from 42 votes.
