Eagle's Wing

Set in antebellum Mexico, this western drama follows the conflict between a trapper named Pike and a Native American man named White Bull. The tension begins when Pike steals a prized stallion known as Eagle's Wing from White Bull. This act sparks a pursuit across the landscape, during which the characters encounter various people, including Mexican military garrisons and travelers from a stagecoach.

Directed by Anthony Harvey, the film was released in 1979. It is the third film in a chronological sequence of his work, following The Lion in Winter and They Might Be Giants, and preceding Players and Svengali. The screenplay was written by John Briley and produced by Ben Arbeid. The movie features a cast that includes Martin Sheen, Sam Waterston, Harvey Keitel, Stéphane Audran, John Castle, and Caroline Langrishe.
