Treasure Hunter

A treasure hunter searches for a legendary hoard linked to the explorer Christopher Columbus. Driven by the ambitions of a former mentor, he begins a perilous quest and forms an unlikely partnership with a young man from the streets. As the youth becomes his apprentice, the pair works together to overcome the various obstacles they encounter during their journey.

This adventure comedy was directed by Héctor Valdez, following his 2024 film Ambrosia. The movie was produced by José Ramón Alama, who also wrote the screenplay. The production was a collaboration between the Dominican Republic and Peru, involving La Soga Producciones and Bou Group. The main cast features Franco Cabrera as Arsenio Dumas and Carlos Alcántara as Clemente Mondego, alongside Sergio Galliani, Patricia Barreto, Víc Gómez, and Yasser Michelén. The film has a runtime of 106 minutes and was released on November 28, 2024.
