Adventures Italian Style Reloaded

Set in 1991, this adventure comedy follows three Italian friends, Pago, Rice, and Bibi. Two years after a previous trip to Romania, the group has returned to their mundane routines until Bibi arranges to meet Yuliya, a Bulgarian woman he has been writing to for several months. The friends travel to Sofia for the meeting, but they soon discover that Yuliya is keeping a secret. This revelation pulls the trio into an international plot, leaving them targeted by Italian intelligence agents and criminal elements in the Balkans.

The film was written and directed by Antonio Pisu. It serves as a sequel to Est - Dittatura Last Minute. The main cast features Lodovico Guenzi as Rice, Matteo Gatta as Pago, and Jacopo Costantini as Bibi, alongside Orfeo Orlando, Sofia Longhini, and Melanie Mladenova. A co-production between Italy, Bulgaria, and Romania, the project was supported by RAI Cinema, the MEDIA Programme of the European Union, the Ministry of Culture, and the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission. The movie has a runtime of 105 minutes and was released on February 13, 2025.
