Short description

The Mosquito Bowl is an upcoming historical war drama set after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The story follows four college football stars who leave their fame behind to join the United States Marine Corps. As they prepare for the invasion of Okinawa, the men participate in a significant football game and navigate the bonds of brotherhood and the realities of combat.

The film is directed by Peter Berg, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Mark L. Smith. This project is the 12th of 13 films directed by Berg, following his 2020 movie Spenser Confidential and preceding his 2028 project Call of Duty. Produced by Imagine Entertainment and Film 44, the production was led by Brian Grazer, Alexander H. Gayner, and Berg. The cast features Nicholas Galitzine as John McLaughry and Brent Comer as George Murphy, along with Claudia Ware, Ella Newton, Brodie Henson, and Olga Petsa.
