In Paris

Following a painful breakup with a woman named Anna, a young man named Paul returns to Paris to live with his father and younger brother, Jonathan. Overcome by depression, Paul confines himself to his room and refuses to leave. While his father and brother attempt to cheer him up with limited success, he also receives a visit from his mother. Eventually, through reflections and a conversation with one of Jonathan's acquaintances, Paul begins to find a reason to move forward and recognizes the value of his family's support.

Written and directed by Christophe Honoré, this comedy-drama is the second film in his directing career, following Ma mère. The movie stars Romain Duris and Louis Garrel as the brothers, alongside Marie-France Pisier and Joana Preiss. A joint production between France and Portugal, the film had a budget of 2 million USD and earned the same amount at the worldwide box office.
