The Librarian: The Curse of the Judas Chalice

Flynn Carsen, the librarian who guards a hidden collection of powerful artefacts, has little time for a personal life, so Judson sends him on a holiday. Troubling dreams draw him to New Orleans, where he meets Simone Renoir, a woman who recognises him and asks for his help. A gang of former Soviet agents has stolen the coffin of Vlad Dracul and is hunting the Judas Chalice, the silver cup said to have the power to raise the vampire prince from the dead. Flynn and Simone race to find the chalice first, and their search takes them into a decaying New Orleans crypt.

This is the third film in the Librarian series, with Noah Wyle again playing Flynn and also producing alongside Dean Devlin and Phillip M. Goldfarb. Stana Katic plays Simone, while Jane Curtin and Bob Newhart return as Charlene and Judson. Jonathan Frakes directs, his second Librarian film after The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines and the sixth film he directed, following two Star Trek features, Clockstoppers and Thunderbirds. Marco Schnabel wrote the screenplay.

The film runs 95 minutes and was released in 2008. It holds a rating of 6.4 out of 10 on IMDb from around 15,000 votes, and 6.3 out of 10 on TMDB from several hundred votes, indicating a modest but generally favourable response from viewers.
