Hamilton 2: But Not If It Concerns Your Daughter

Swedish intelligence officer Carl Hamilton takes matters into his own hands when his seven-year-old goddaughter, Nathalie, is kidnapped. The abduction follows critical public comments made by the girl's mother regarding a militant group. Because the situation involves complex political motives, Swedish authorities remain passive, leaving Hamilton to operate without official authorization. Aided by military colleagues and international contacts, he organizes a rescue mission to save the child from her captors.

Directed by Tobias Falk, this Swedish action thriller stars Mikael Persbrandt in the lead role, with a supporting cast including Steven Waddington, Saba Mubarak, Frida Hallgren, Reuben Sallmander, and Nadja Christiansson. The film was produced by Kanzaman Productions, TV4, and Pampas Produktion, with a screenplay written by Stefan Thunberg.

The movie earned 3 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception is mixed, as indicated by a 5.6 rating on IMDb based on 3,900 votes and a 5.8 rating on TMDB from 82 votes.
