A series of high-profile thefts of historical artifacts occurs across the globe, including the theft of the Pink Panther diamond. To recover these treasures and capture the thief, Chief Inspector Dreyfus assembles a team of international experts. Despite his clumsy nature, Inspector Jacques Clouseau is included in this specialized group to help track the criminal through various cities.
