Nobody Else But You

David Rousseau is a successful crime novelist from Paris who is struggling with a lack of inspiration. While visiting a remote village in the French Alps for the reading of a will, he encounters the death of Candice Lecoeur. Candice was a local celebrity, weather presenter, and model who believed she was the reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe. Although local authorities conclude that she died by suicide, Rousseau is unconvinced. He begins investigating her life and the surrounding village politics, using the mystery as a catalyst for his next book.

This 2011 French comedy and mystery was directed and written by Gérald Hustache-Mathieu, following his 2006 film April in Love. The movie stars Jean-Paul Rouve as the writer David Rousseau and Sophie Quinton as Candice Lecoeur, with supporting roles played by Guillaume Gouix, Olivier Rabourdin, Arsinée Khanjian, and Clara Ponsot.
