Sakamoto Days

Taro Sakamoto is a former professional assassin who left his violent career behind to marry and start a family. Now a store owner and father to a young daughter, he finds his peaceful domestic life threatened when his previous history resurfaces. Sakamoto must utilize his old combat skills once again to ensure the safety of his wife and child.

Directed and written by Yuichi Fukuda, this Japanese action comedy follows his previous works, including Under Ninja and New Interpretation of the End of Edo Period. The film stars Ren Meguro in the lead role, supported by Fumiya Takahashi, Aya Ueto, Miyu Yoshimoto, Mayuu Yokota, and Junki Tozuka. The production was handled by avex pictures and CREDEUS.
