In a World...

Carol Solomon works as a vocal coach but has yet to make a name for herself, while her father, Sam Sotto, is a celebrated figure in the world of movie-trailer voice-overs. Encouraged by him, she sets out to pursue her own ambitions in that field. Her efforts run up against professional rivalry, sexism and tensions within her family, and she finds herself competing for the job of narrating the trailer for a major blockbuster.
