The House on the Moon

The House on the Moon is a fantasy and science fiction film about a celestial maiden named Chang Er. She travels to the far side of the moon to locate her partner, Ho Yi. He is a skilled archer who disappeared while attempting to rescue a fading sun.

Directed by Nelson Yeo, this is the second film he has directed following Mary, Mary, So Contrary in 2019. Yeo also co-wrote the screenplay with Vicki Yang. The production was a collaboration between companies from Germany, Indonesia, Singapore, and Taiwan, with Kuek Shee Heng serving as producer. The main cast features Lim Shi-An in the role of Chang Er and Dominick Rustam-Chartrand as Hou Yi. Other cast members include Akira Huang, Harry Chang, Lee Kang-sheng, and Doreen Toh. Released on August 14, 2026, the movie has a runtime of 99 minutes.
